Prayer Warriors

Mission Statement

We are a group of Christian men and women joined together for the purpose of providing effective, fervent intercessory prayer for others; we look to Jesus Christ as our model for intercessory prayer.

  • We will use Scripture, fasting and prayer to prepare ourselves for intercessory prayer.

  • We agree to fast in whatever manner we can before prayer.

  • We agree to meditate on the selected Scripture at least 5 minutes before praying.

  • We agree to come together and form a prayer chain on specific days and times to pray for our Pastor and his family, our church family, the people on our prayer list, the unsaved and the members of our prayer warrior team.

  • We agree to include acknowledgement, confession and thanksgiving at the beginning of our prayers:

    •  Acknowledge (praise and worship God for who and what He is).

    • Confess our sins, both known and unknown.

    • Thank God for what He has already done.

Purpose Statement

The Prayer Warriors’ Ministry seeks to build a team of strong and faithful believers dedicated to prayer in the name of Jesus Christ on behalf of others.  We desire to provide effective, fervent prayer, seeking God’s will and timing, with the expectation of a breakthrough; and to pray for the lost to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and for the tearing down of demonic strongholds.

To connect people to Christ through prayer.

Scripture References

“Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.  For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”  (Matthew 18:19-20 – King James Version)

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.  The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”             (James 5:16 – King James Version)
